A note from Allie

Child, Adolescent, Teen & Adult Therapist

Hello! I’m Allie Smith, a temporary Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in working with adolescents and adults, as well as couples. I provide a supportive, empathetic space to explore and address challenges related to anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, and other symptoms impacting your daily life.

I believe that each individual is the expert in their own life, and my role is to help you uncover the tools and strategies that will empower you to create meaningful, lasting change. My therapeutic approach is integrative, combining techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy to provide a tailored experience that meets your unique needs.

I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand View University in 2024, and I’m passionate about helping individuals build resilience, improve emotional well-being, and navigate life’s ups and downs. Whether you're facing a specific challenge or simply looking to gain more clarity, I’m here to help you find the path that works best for you.

When I'm not working with clients, I enjoy spending time on my small farm. I love being outdoors—whether it's walking with my dogs, tending to my garden, or simply soaking in the beauty of nature. These experiences help me stay grounded, and I bring that same sense of calm and presence to my therapeutic work.

If you're ready to take the next step toward healing and personal growth, I would love to work with you. Let’s uncover the tools you need to thrive.
