A note from Brittany
Children, Adolescent, Teen Therapist
I primarily work with elementary-aged children (ages 5–12), supporting a wide range of needs such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, ADHD, autism, adjustment issues, relationship conflicts, and behavioral challenges at home, in school, and in the community.
I’m passionate about creating a welcoming, inclusive space where children of all backgrounds, cultures, and abilities feel seen and supported. With over 15 years in the social work field, I recently transitioned into the role of therapist—bringing a strong foundation of experience and a deep commitment to helping children grow and thrive.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe it truly takes a village to support a child, and I enjoy partnering closely with parents and school teams to create consistent, supportive environments.
In sessions, I use Play Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help children better understand their thoughts, emotions, and how to manage big feelings. I may also incorporate mindfulness, grounding techniques, music, art, and sensory play to meet each child where they are and support their unique needs.
My work is guided by my faith and grounded in values of respect, love, and kindness. My goal is to help children build the emotional and social skills they need to feel confident, connected, and capable in all areas of life.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my three kids (ages 10, 9, and 8). We enjoy traveling, going to local festivals, and playing games together.
