A note from Darla

Children, Adolescent, Teen, & Adult Therapist

I am passionate about walking alongside individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward healing, growth, and greater self-understanding. I welcome children (ages 5 and up), teens, adults, and older adults (65 and up) into the therapy space, tailoring the process to meet the unique needs of each life stage.

My approach to therapy is integrative and person-centered. I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Play Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

Creating a warm, safe, and non-judgmental environment is at the core of my work. I aim to offer honest, compassionate feedback while helping you gain insight, shift unhelpful patterns, and connect with your inner strengths. My goal is to support you in finding more balance, clarity, and purpose in your life on your own terms.

With nearly two decades of experience working with individuals involved in the court system, I bring a deep understanding of complex trauma and high-stress environments. I’ve had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life, each with their own story, and I hold space for the full range of human experience. My areas of specialty include: Anxiety, ADHD, Depression, Personality Disorders, PTSD, Dissociative Disorders, Crisis Intervention, Court-Mandated cases, Grief, and Life transitions.

Above all, I believe in the capacity for growth, resilience, and transformation and I’m here to support you every step of the way as you move toward becoming the healthiest, most authentic version of yourself.
