A note from Emily

Child, Adolescent & Adult Therapist

As a clinician I aim to provide services that are culturally competent, trauma-informed, and client centered. I hold a Masters in Social Work from Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville and Bachelors in both Social Work and Pre Art Therapy.

I enjoy using a variety of approaches and interventions to create a unique blend that suits you or your child. I appreciate talk based and creative techniques. If your voice comes through differently; I would love to support you through other creative interventions.

I have had the opportunity to gain experience in a variety of settings, having worked in residential homes, behavior programs, case management services, community mental health, and private therapy. I have been honored to work with various populations such as adolescents, trauma-impacted, high-risk, LGBTQ+, and disabled individuals.

I look forward to assisting life span clients ranging from 5 yrs and up. I am experienced in supporting individuals through grief, loss, life transitions, anxiety, depression, identity work, value work, trauma processing, skill building, mood disturbances, and other emotional processes.

As both a professional and an individual, I believe in the power of experience. Experience has impacted our past and has led us to our present. I hope to honor all parts of you, as we work towards navigating building your future.
