A note from Heather

Children & Adult Therapist

I am dedicated to collaborating with individuals across the lifespan to utilize their strengths and achieve their goals.  My approach is non-judgmental and warm as I utilize various therapeutic techniques to help develop coping skills to overcome life's struggles.

I have over 20 years of experience working as a clinical social worker in the hospital setting, home hospice and special education programs in the public schools.  I have worked with children who are neurodivergent, struggle with anxiety, ADHD, Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, behavioral disturbances and communication disorders.

I am a breast cancer survivor and value working with others experiencing a cancer diagnosis or other complex health issues.  A serious health condition affects the mental and spiritual health of the person diagnosed and their loved ones significantly.  I always look forward to meeting new clients and joining with them on their journey to become their best selves.
