A note from Karla

My name is Karla Vaquerano Willis and I am a Licensed Master of Social Work (LMSW).

I am bilingual and bicultural, originally from El Salvador and raised in Iowa. I have a passion for providing mental health therapy to all, but especially the Latino community. I have training in CBT, ACT, and Motivational Interviewing. I have extensive experience working with teens and parents. I have worked in social services for almost twenty years and look forward to seeing how I can support you or a loved one.

Me llamo Karla Vaquerano Willis y soy una trabajadora social quien trabaja en el área de salud mental. Nacida en El Salvador, crecí en Iowa. Soy bilingüe en inglés y español y tengo una pasión en proveer terapias de salud mental a la comunidad latina.Tengo entrenamiento en varias formas de terapia incluyendo terapia cognitivo-conductual, terapia aceptación-compromiso, y entrevista motivacional. Mi experiencia esta en trabajando con la comunidad y especialmente con adolescentes y padres. E trabajado en servicios sociales por casi 20 años y espero ver como puedo apoyar a usted o un ser querido.
