A note from Kayla

Children, Adolescents, Teens, Adults, & Couples Therapist

Healing doesn’t mean the damage never existed—it means it no longer controls you. As a therapist, I walk beside adolescents, adults, and couples through life’s challenges—whether you’re in the trenches of motherhood, exploring your identity as part of the LGBTQIA+ community, or navigating life’s many transitions. I work with issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, confidence, self-worth, work stress, ADHD, relationship conflict, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting. My goal is to offer a safe, inclusive space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered.

I believe everyone deserves compassionate, affirming mental health care. I’m LGBTQIA+ affirming and inclusive of transgender and non-binary individuals, and I honor all identities and stories without judgment. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your needs, using evidence-based modalities such as ACT, CBT, IFS, person-centered counseling, solution-focused work, and mindfulness-based practices. With curiosity, creativity, and care, I’ll support you in finding your voice, moving through trauma, and reconnecting with your authentic self. You don’t have to do this alone—let’s walk this path together, toward healing, confidence, and the life you want to live.
