A note from Kris
Child, Adolescent, Teen, Family and Adult Therapist
I am proudly a quirky and unique therapist, who was diagnosed with Autism, later in life. As a therapist, I bring a tailored approach of using distinctively individualized visual aides to help my clients and believe empowering clients is the most important aspect of the therapeutic process.
Professionally, I have experience working with people throughout their life span and with varying levels of abilities. Also, I enjoy working with tweens, teens and their families and strongly believe that families that learn together also grow together for the better. Building foundational blocks help families and individuals gain deeper insight into self.
I utilize therapeutic approaches of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and aspects of Internal Family Systems (IFS). I also have training in trauma-informed de-escalation.
I have 10 years lived experience as a military spouse, single mom and widow. I am LGTBQ+ affirming. If you are looking for a therapist who can walk with you, while trying to figure out this world, I am the therapist for you.
