A note from Molly
teen and Adult Therapist
Hi, my name is Molly Horner! I’m a compassionate, client-centered therapist with experience supporting individuals, adults and families across the lifespan.
Early in my career, I spent approximately a year working closely with children and families, addressing emotional, behavioral, and developmental concerns through age-appropriate, play-based interventions. I also collaborated with parents and caregivers to strengthen communication, improve family relationships, and develop practical strategies for navigating challenges at home.
Since then, I have worked with clients of all ages experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, mood disorders, sleep difficulties, anger management, ADHD, life transitions, and relationship and interpersonal challenges.
At this time, I particularly enjoy working with adolescents and young adults as they navigate the unique emotional, developmental, relational, and life-transition challenges that can arise during these stages of life.
I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. My approach is primarily person-centered and incorporates mindfulness, cognitive behavioral strategies, solution-focused therapy, and elements of DBT based on each client’s needs and goals. I take a holistic approach, considering the impact of relationships, environment, physical well-being, work, and daily routines on mental health. I work collaboratively with clients to build on their strengths, develop effective coping skills, and create meaningful, sustainable change.
